KUWENTISTA PRODUCTION is a newly-registered Philippine company.

We are a group of creators engaged in writing, producing and directing for film, television programs, corporate videos, music videos, events, commercials and animation.

Our roster of creative talents are young, highly motivated individuals who has the passion for excellence, innovative entertainment and a dynamic and evolving approach to any creative project.

MA-AN L. ASUNCION
Managing Director

A freelance producer for ABS-CBN Global's advertising needs. She has also worked as Production Manager for the award-winning independent film "Kubrador" (Bet collector) and commercial films Apat Dapat, Cute ng Ina mo, Big Love under a Viva Films/Star Cinema co-production and Disney Channel's interstitial plug "Disney Hidden Talent".

MICHAEL ANGELO P. DAGÑALAN
Creative Director

He has written, produced and directed the digital film "iSNATS'. A first prize winner in the screenplay category of the prestigious Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature 2002.

The movie is a finalist at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2005, programmed at the Cinemanila International Film Festival 2005 and Cine Veritas Human Rights Film Festival 2005, and Official Selection at the New York Filipino Film Festival 2006, New York.

He has also written scripts for ABS-CBN/GMA 7/ABC 5/RPN 9 television programs, corporate videos and has produced events and written/produced/directed infomercials. He is also a Co-facilitator of the Sinelab Workshop Independent Filmmaking series.

He has written for film under Star Cinema, Contributing Writer for ABS-CBN/GMA 7/ABC 5 television programs, Story Editor for US animation projects, and Co-Facilitator of the Sinelab Workshop Independent Filmmaking series.

She has worked for BPI Banking Corporation for 30 years and currently she is the Managing Director of Benny Batoctoy's Mountain Rock Productions. The prosthetics company supplies Advertising commercial productions and ABS-CBN television programs.

STEP ONE : THE VISION AND THE ARTISTIC MODEL
1. Who are the stakeholders of the vision?
2. Is the vision relevant?
3. What are the costs and benefits of the vision?
4. What are the form and the substance of the vision?

STEP TWO : FORMULATING AN IDEA
An idea is a basic unit in constructing a working concept.

STEP THREE : BUILDING A CONCEPT
The idea is the seed of the material while the concept is the cradleof the idea.
1. Subject

3. Design
4. Pattern of the Material
5. Approach to Reality

STEP FOUR : CONSTRUCTING THE PREMISE
The premise has two components namely the character and the story.
The said components operate within the structure of the premise.
Often, the logline or pitching line comes from the premise.

STEP FIVE : CONSTRUCTING THE OUTLINEThe outline has 8 major parts called movements.

STEP SIX : THE SEQUENCE TREATMENT
The sequence treatment bridges the outline and the script.
The treatment determines how many sequences will it take to execute a movement.

STEP SEVEN: THE SCRIPT FORMAT
The script is made-up of 7 major parts.

STEP THREE : ELEMENTS OF THE SCRIPT
The script has 5 elements.

2. Installment Scheme: You can pay 50% of the fee on the 1stday.
25% on the 2nd day and 25% 3rd day.

TESTIMONIAL:
I sometimes find it difficult to create videos even if I have experience in videography and production. Good thing, I came across an invitation to a workshop I exactly needed for my AVP needs. I signified my participation to the invitation. There, I learned how to structure a script effectively. Likewise, studying script models and concepts with Melchor and Mike is something I value tremendously. Because I use it everyday in my job, which focuses highly on Audio-Visual Productions. Just recently, I produced an AVP for a friend’s wedding (as what melchor anticipated). The first wedding AVP I created. I watched some samples and I have observed that most AVPs were built based on templates. I told myself that I wanted the video to have a character, something that the newly-weds and the audience would really appreciate. I applied the concepts that I learned from the seminar, drafted the script on my mind then proceeded with the shoot and finally edited it.The response from the newly-weds and the guests were overwhelming. They said it was their first time to see such kind of video. People applauded and congratulated us for a job well done. Thanks to the workshop!
